RapidValue has emerged as the winner in the category “Best L&D Initiative in IT & Software” in the L&D World Summit and Awards 2019. The event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru-Embassy ONE on the 16th of October, 2019. Sponsored by Adobe and in association with enparadigm, the summit intends to guide people through the L&D journey and help build an organization of agile leaders to respond swiftly to rapidly changing market opportunities and customers demand.
The event was attended by leading companies like Adobe, Dominos, IBM, Ashok Leyland and the like. The summit provided an insight into the L&D practices of the key players in the industry through the case studies that were presented and the panel discussion. A wide range of topics such as harnessing analytics to shape L&D budget, the future workforce and unprecedented retention rates were discussed.
Our award-winning L&D initiative is titled ‘Influence’ and was introduced in the organization to bridge the communication gap and to get rid of the existence of siloed teams in the organization. Basically, Influence acts as a knowledge-sharing platform wherein the associates can learn without the fear of judgement. The peer-to-peer learning framework ended up being very effective and provided 360-degree evaluations of the employees.
“Winning this highly commended award for the Best L&D Practice over so many other wonderful L&D practices was quite overwhelming. When we reflect and look back at our achievements, we are all extremely proud of the hard work and commitment exhibited by our team to make this win happen. This achievement is sure to fuel our constant endeavor in trying to provide an involved, learning and transparent workplace environment,” says Aravind Warrier, Senior HR Manager, RapidValue.
The program Influence is bringing together our associates and enabling them to learn from the experiences of others. Receiving first-hand knowledge from people you know makes it more relatable and effective. We have noticed significant impact of the Influence program across the organization. By providing positive role models, peer influences and opportunities, the Influence program is increasing social collaboration and also creating a sense of belonging within supportive peer networks. It aids in the development of positive coping strategies and widening the beliefs of the young employees regarding the opportunities available to them. Most importantly, it improves the relationship between employees while boosting their confidence and enhancing their communication and social skills.
